  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1/2 cup Ground flax seed
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Pitted dates soak in water to soften if needed
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Coconut oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts, chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 8 x 8 baking dish with coconut oil.

  2. Ground the oats in a food processor until it makes a flour-like consistency.

  3. Combine the rest of the ingredients except the chocolate chips and walnuts in the food processor. Blend until smooth and dates are well-blended

  4. Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts using a rubber spatula.

  5. Bake for 25-28 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
