I made this cake for each of my children’s first birthdays and they both loved it! I followed the recipe as written and it turned out perfect. I thought it was plenty sweet on its own with the bananas and didn’t add anything extra. I would highly recommend this recipe for a healthy homemade smash cake.

You must have had leftover mix after filling only 2 of your 4″ pans?
What did you do with the rest of the mix?
Want to figure out what size cake it makes if you don’t use a 4″ pan?

I used butter in place of coconut oil and it worked perfectly.
Has anyone tried an egg in it? Wondered if it might rise a little more.
